Responsibility

She remembered so well what her father had said, “Don’t waste time worrying about the mistakes of yesterday. Each morning is a beginning. Start from there.” – The Cherokee Trail by Louis L’Amour

“One day,” her father had often said, “this will all be yours, so you must learn how it functions. Never trust your affairs to anyone else. If you have a foreman or a super intendant, that’s fine, but be sure you know what is going on. You give the orders, you check to make sure your wishes are carried out.” – The Cherokee Trail by Louis L’Amour

Hi, Mithril! I don’t know if you remember me, but it’s me, Leia. The one with the Excelsior blog back in 2015. It’s been a while, I know.
I just wanted to drop in and see if your blog was still going, and I’m glad to see it is. And I wanted to thank you. It’s been a long time since my WordPress days, but your feedback and encouragement was what motivated me to keep writing, and I’ve written many fanfics since then, as well as started writing my own original novel. It…well, it meant a lot to me, back then. Thank you. 🙂
    How have you been doing?

Leia, HI!!!! Of course I remember you!!! How could I possibly forget?!?

It’s GREAT to hear from you again – and you’re writing your own novel!!! WOW! 😀 I am so happy for you! I am so glad that my comments helped you out, but really, you ‘re the one who deserves the credit. You wrote well then, and to begin a novel of your own means you’ve undoubtedly gotten better. I’m so happy for you!!!

I’m doing all right, except that I haven’t seen Infinity War yet. I’ve read all the spoilers, though, and I know I’m going sniffle at least a little when I finally see it. Are you still into Marvel?
