2020 has not been a hard year for celebrities. Among those lost, Charlie Daniels will be sorely missed by all, whether they are country music fans or not. While his song is last on the list, that does not mean he is last in this author’s mind. Last place in a collection of almost any sort tends to be the place of honor, and this time is no exception.

Rest easy, Mr. Daniels. We will miss you.
