Unforgettable Anime Themes

Below are just some of the anime themes I have heard. Zoids, of course, is at the top of the list because it is my favorite anime ever. If an anime cannot at least reach the level of New Century Zero, then this writer is not going to consider it great. Good, yes, but cream of the crop? That is something which the writers and animators have to work for.

Admittedly, this writer has yet to check out Dr. Stone and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs. But the intros for these anime have impressed her enough that she is going to view them. She gave up on Fairy Tail; it just didn’t grab her, though the first intro theme still makes her happy.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is a solid winner, though it doesn’t rate too high on the list of best anime ever. At one season plus a movie (really three episodes strung together), it does not have a lot of room to reach its full potential. Hopefully more than the movie Battle of Unato is in the future for this series; then it might reach greater heights. But for now it is a solid, watchable anime – despite the zombies. 😛

And yes, Zoids: Chaotic Century’s English and Japanese intros are here. They both earned this spot because they are just that good. The original intro for Zoids: Genesis is here because while I don’t like the series, the theme song is darn catchy. I couldn’t get it out of my head for a long, long time. Now you won’t be able to, either. 😉

Have fun with the music, readers!

Well, maybe. Kinda. Sorta. Does waiting for midnight on New Year’s Eve count? I really, really like my sleep, people…..

But I still love rock’n’roll. If you do as well, readers, then check out the great songs. You may not “wanna rock’n’roll all night,” but you will enjoy these tunes. Who doesn’t like good old-fashioned rock’n’roll?! 😀

Sing, Sing, Sing!

Wow, talk about some great music! Okay, the merits of Taylor Swift’s tunes may be arguable, but hearing a couple of characters perform “Shake It Off” in Sing got me hooked on this one. It is the most recent song on the whole list. Hmm, that could be taken as a commentary on a lot of modern music, could it not, readers?

Have fun dancing to the beat – and don’t forget to “Shake It Off”!

Dance, Jump, Sing, and Believe

Whoops! It pays to look at the calendar closely, readers, let me tell ya. For some bizarre reason I thought I had two more November weeks to work with, when in reality there was only one. With the holiday crunch in full swing, it looks as though I will have to close out this year’s writings with a brief post about music. None of them are Christmas melodies, in case you were worried. I will save that for December. 😉

The songs below may be oldies but they are definitely goodies. What can I say? Modern tunes rarely have the soul these great pieces do. They will be played well into the future, I am sure, while the songs written in the present will forever remain here.

Enjoy the music, readers!

More Oldies But Goodies

Here are some more “oldies but goodies” for you to enjoy, readers! Is it just me, or is this stuff better than a lot of the newer music being produced by a lot of companies today?

Don’t get me wrong – I like several new artists very, very much. But they’re few and far between; music like this just strikes a better chord with me. (Pun intended, more or less.) There’s just something about these songs that makes them superior to a lot of the new noise being created now, in my opinion.

Anyway, here are some “retro” tunes to brighten your day, readers. Enjoy!
